Mid-Devon District Council
Ingenious Clean Energy was one of the first businesses to recognise the potential within the UK market for the provision of energy efficiency services. The UK's energy inefficient stock of property presents an opportunity to bundle project design, procurement and provision of energy saving equipment within a ‘share of savings’ model whereby the property owner benefits from a share of the energy saved without incurring the upfront capital cost.
Local Council multi-site retrofit and on-site heat generation: the project involved the local council’s head office, car park and three leisure centres. Upgraded equipment included a biomass boiler, air handling units, valve insulation, vending machine controls, swimming pool controllers and low energy lighting.
The deal was concluded by AEESL, an investee company of Ingenious Energy Efficiency EIS.
Investors should be aware that past performance is not a guide to future performance and may not be repeated. The value of an investment can go down as well as up and you may not get back the full amount invested.
